The State of Nevada Commerce Tax Report is due on August 15, 2017. This will be the second year that Nevada companies are required to file. The reports and tax payment are due 45 days after the close of the State’s fiscal year on June 30 and are based, in most cases, on gross revenue for July 1 through June 30. This tax is sometimes referred to as the gross margins tax.
A business whose gross revenue is less than $4,000,000 may file using the simplified reporting method. The instructions for completing this report were updated on 6/16/2017 and are available on the following link Nevada Commerce Tax Instructions.
